This video was presented at a farewell assembly for our students and teachers from our sister school.
The internet has opened up some fantastic opportunities for students to learn and engage in their own learning. As ways to learn, communicate, trade and create changes we need to adapt and change with it to maximise our potential. To maintain the best standards for the students we are going to be enabling more learning opportunities online through a greater diversity of resources such as ‘YouTube’. Through these resources, students will be able engage with a medium they use regularly whilst developing critical literacy, numeracy and Inquiry skills that is modern, up to date and relevant to their lives. With new opportunities comes an equal amount of responsibility and the ability to be critical thinkers and know what is considered ‘safe and unsafe’ and how to handle these situations. We look forward to continuing to work with parents to maximise the potential of all students, including how to be a safe, critical and productive members of the community both on and off line.
The following policies have been through the process of review and are currently placed on the website for community perusal and input.
It is intended that the policies be presented to School Council for ratification at the next School Council Meeting on August 20th.
We have recently launched the website Family Law Network Australia.
