As you would be aware, there are two building projects underway through the federal government‘s Building the Education Revolution initiative.

The first building project, which is well underway is the National School Pride (NSP) project. This project will see an upgrade of the administration and health area.

Administration is now located in the Performing Arts Room.

There is NO access for parents or students via the front of the school until further notice.

Parents and students who need access to administration will need to enter the school via the gym doors.

Our second building project is Primary Schools for the 21st Century (P21). This project will see a Library and new Learning Centre.

The enabling stage (fencing, prepatory work) will begin in approximately 4 weeks. It is anticipated that this project will take 10 to 12 months for completion.

The portable classrooms will be relocated within the school grounds commencing in mid November (more information on the exact date will be advised).

Students from the portable classrooms- 1JI, 1AJ, 2W, 3S, 4W and 4H will be temporarily moved to other locations eg William Barak Centre and Performing Arts room.

It is anticipated that students will only be in their temporary classrooms for approximately two weeks before returning to their home rooms.

Please watch this space for all building updates...
