Super Special Dress Up Day
We hope you are all thinking about your dress ups for Wednesday, 26th April. Our theme is 'Super Special' - come in anything that makes you feel special. Bring a gold coin donation to support 'Spectrum Journeys Inc.' a not for profit Autism Service in our region, that provides education and support services. For more information see www.spectrumjourneys.com.au. See the flyer for more details...
In conjunction with the dress up day, we are also inviting families to contribute pampering items to Spectrum Journeys to make up 'Blessing Bags'. These are beautifully decorated bags, filled with quality pamper items that are gifted to mums who are raising and supporting a child on the Spectrum. These mothers might be struggling with the diagnostic process, facing difficult decisions, feeling emotionally overwhelmed by therapies, reports and government departments, or simply experiencing a challenging time with their child. Each pack is designed to encourage a mum by showing her she is thought of, precious, valued and provides her with hte opportunity to do something for herself.
Items requested are: Chocolate - Lindt, Cadbury or Nestle, body wash, bath bombs, hand cream, nail polish, candles, body moisturiser, mugs, tea, tissues (single packs), pens, notebook/journal.
There is a white basket in the office foyer to collect any donations until Friday, 5th May. Thank you for your support!
Our next assembly will be held on Friday, 5th May. Our hosts will be 4IR.
The assembly will begin at 2.45 pm in the Gym.
Our new Canteen menu for Winter is out now. Make sure you update to your new price list to avoid confusion in the Canteen!
