Asthma - The Asthma Foundation of Victoria is a community funded not-for-profit organisation that provides advice, counselling, education and training for people with asthma and their carers, health professionals, first aiders and the community.
Aspergers Parent Support Network - This is a group of parents who have a family member diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome (AS), an Autism Spectrum Disorder. Their children range in age from 3 years to adult. They hold regular coffee mornings and evenings, information sessions and seminars on Asperger's Syndrome. Many people really enjoy getting together for a chat, a laugh and sometimes a cry about their family member who has AS, in an understanding and supportive environment. Autism - Autism Spectrum disorder (ASD) - is a term used to describe a range of developmental disabilities on the autistic spectrum. It affects one in 200-500 people. It is a lifelong developmental disorder affecting a person's communication and social interaction skills. People with ASD often have limited or obsessive interests.
