School Uniform

Since 1996 the wearing of school uniform has been compulsory at this school. We encourage children to wear socks at all time to protect their feet from a variety of minor and major dangers. For safety reasons the school rule is - NO THONGS or BARE FEET.

For more information, please read our School Uniform Policy.

School Council’s “Sun-Smart” policy which promotes the use of hats and suitable clothing is closely supervised during terms 1 and 4. Both broad brimmed hats and legionnaires hats, which provide maximum protection against UV radiation, are available through the uniform shop.

Naming of Articles

Clothing is an expensive item, so please make sure that everything is clearly labelled. It is also wise to check that your child has brought home all the articles of clothing that went to school in the morning.

Lost Property

Lost property, is sent to the office area where it is stored in a large container. Members of Parent and Friends Association check through the lost property each week and return “named” clothing to the owners. Unnamed and unclaimed clothing is sent to the Uniform Shop where it is sold as second hand clothing. Alternatively, non-uniform items are sent to the Salvation Army Clothing bins at the end of each term.
